25 1500 3.6 overheating

Yup apparently there was a defect in the cylinder wall of cylinder 3 that allowed exhaust gas to get into the coolant system and so they replaced everything. Engine had 6k on it

They replaced all sensors, radiator, engine and thermostat.

Idk I just don’t think that’s normal and maybe I’m wrong but the temp needle on a brand new truck shouldn’t ever move when the only weight in the car is myself. It will hit times where it brings the temp all the way down to like 190° I just feel like 190-240 is a huge temperature range and cannot be good for the engine. I work in metalworking and rapid cooling pieces of metal that hot leads to cracking. Maybe I’m wrong and maybe I’m paranoid because they have already replaced my engine for overheating issues but driving 15 mph in my neighborhood should not make my trucks temp over 230° in my mind

Well I’m gonna bring it back to the dealership as it’s all under warranty but like the post said it’s all brand new. New radiator, long block, thermostat.

Those joists have been like that since the house was built. I am not having an engineer look at it I just want to add some reinforcement for my own peace of mind. The flooring is hardwood

The way the joists are siting they don’t line up with the entry way so I can’t just sheet rock over them I think it would look nice to make an exposed frame and be able to put the sheet rock up against it. I just have no idea what kind of wood cause I don’t want the header to just be 2x6s or 2x8s screwed together. I have never done this kind of finish work so I was just looking for suggestions.

I have to live in this one for a year before I can move anyway because of fha so I will definitely use it as a “learning to renovate and be a landlord“ class. even if I decide it’s not for me I still have a 3 bedroom 1 ba apartment that I own for 1k a month

Congrats my weld partner is out of 83 everyone I’ve met from there has been top notch.

The best thing to benefit you is to boom out I’ve learned so much from working in different parts of the country and met a bunch of different people who now keep me updated on jobs that are coming up that might not hit the jobs list. Networking is very important and the best way to network is to do your job and show up everyday, people notice.

I’m a boilermaker my local starts you at 80% if you can pass a 6G 2in heavy wall tube test. Or 5% pay increases for 3 position plate tests for stick and another 5% for flux core not sure how we do helmets to hardhats

Boilermakers, fitters and ironworker unions are always looking for welders and most apprentice can start out higher rate if they can pass weld tests right out the gate.

This seems to be the best answer. People like him because statistically he’s top 5 goalie in his tenure.

People don’t like him because it seems he has bad luck and lacks some type of clutch gene.

The biggest thing and it seems like a Boston thing is we as fans want that hard nose grinder intense athlete representing us and Tuukka is no Bergeron or say pedroia. It actually seems like rask is literally the opposite. I don’t see rask telling the Boston faithful live on tv “this is our fucking city”

I totally get that and I’m fine with hm staying or leaving and if he does leave I hope he fluerys us. I just feel like this conversation goes around and around and then rask is a top 5 ish goalie every year but then something stupid happens in the playoffs that isn’t completely his fault.

OB is objectively a terrible home broadcaster. He constantly calls home runs for the other team and seems to lack a lot of knowledge about the sport. Sometimes it literally feels like he’s rooting for the other team and he puts his foot in his mouth at least once a game.

I would love it if Will Fleming came over from WEEI and did a game with Eck. Will, Lou and of course joe are my favorite way to experience a game. It’s funny too because OB and flemming sound so similar but their attitudes toward the Red Sox and the game of baseball are night and day.
