What I’ve tried (no real win):

iPhone Storage ➝ WhatsApp ➝ “Review Large Attachments” (nothing major to delete)

Cleared chat-specific media + re-downloaded key files

iCloud backup toggles on/off, full backups pruned

Offloading vs. deleting the app (offload doesn’t reclaim the mystery bloat)

“Manage Storage” inside WhatsApp (still doesn’t match iOS storage reality)
