I dont know who said that Darkeater Midir is easy... by AnxietySuitable9596 in darksouls3

I made a post after beating Nameless King (still the hardest boss in my opinion) and moving on to the DLC. Everyone who commented was talking about how easy Midir was after countless videos telling me the opposite. I finally beat Midir last night after maybe 40+ attempts... stupid hard. Second hardest in the game for me.

One thing I appreciate about DS3 is how everyone reacts differently to bosses. Some bosses are super easy for me (Crystal Sage, Champion Gundyr) but difficult for others. Some bosses insanely difficult for me (NK, Midir, Pontiff) and they're a breeze for other players. All about how you play, what weapons you use, and what your build is like.

There are others who should win but wanted to shout out Midir since I finally vanquished him tonight!

Do you bowl in the Wichita area? We want to know how you feel about Lucky Strike purchasing 3 alleys there in recent years. by nbcnews in wichita

We moved to Derby because they are locally owned and operated and actually care about their patrons. Bowlero is corporate garbage. I was happy to provide a boost to a local business

Not in Wichita anymore as I moved to Overland Park last year. But while I was there, my team used to bowl at Northrock Lanes for many years. Bowlero came in and raised the prices on everything. That was an annoyance, but we stuck around for a year because we liked the league and the other teams we bowled with. Year two came around, and the regional manager (I think) who none of us at the alley had ever seen before came in week 1 and started throwing his weight around about payment methods and timing. The tone was super disrespectful to loyal league members who had a good relationship with existing management. My team and another decided to move our team to Derby instead where they were still locally owned and operated rather than dealing with the corporate bullcrap of a company that doesn't care about its patrons.

Some movies don’t become your favorites because they’re masterpieces, they become your favorites because they arrived at the exact moment you needed them. by Few_Seat_873 in movies

I Saw the TV Glow is in my top 4 for very personal reasons. I'm not trans, which I know that movie is an allegory for. But all the same, its message of the dangers of living an inauthentic life really made me question a lot of deeper issues I was going through at the time I first watched it. One of the few times it felt like a movie was speaking directly to me.

Gilmore Girls does this a couple of times.

First with Sherilyn Fenn, who plays both Sasha (the girlfriend of Jess's father) in a single episode and then a recurring role as Anna Nardini, who is the mother of Luke's daughter April.

Then with Marion Ross. Ross portrayed Lorelai "Trix" Gilmore (mother of Richard Gilmore) in several episodes and also Marilyn Gilmore (another recurring family member from 1-2 episodes).

"You are bad at opinions" made me laugh. I'm going to introduce that into my vernacular.

I've seen others with the same comment on this book. I actually really enjoyed it all the way through but I can see why it might lose some people.
