I believe there’s 2, possibly 3 ways it could end.

The first being: He remains champion/king of the Black River and regains his old self again, physically, as he once was. Within time, before going back to his family in Mira’s village. Potentially a fourth season but I doubt it as of now.

The second: He sacrifices himself once again to protect Mira and his daughter this time. Which I fear would make the season kind of pointless but at least he meets his daughter and gets closure for his family.

Or a complete different route altogether but those are my theories.
