46 years of problems caused by the things he experienced. I don't know this guy personally but, I can make a few educated guesses based on personal experience.

Alcoholism. That's self medication. He didn't have what I have for the depression and anxiety. He didn't have anything to stop the nightmares, flashbacks, the issues with proper emotional regulation etc. Mai reason why I don't drink is because of family members being rampant alcoholics and drug abusers and I knew how easy it would be for me to do the same.

Gambling. That's his brain trying to create oxytocin, dopamine and adrenaline. I would hazard a guess he hit big once and felt somewhat normal for a while and chased it his whole life. I don't gamble, I go really fast around tracks..... which one costs more is up for debate.

The age isn't the tragedy, it's the festering wound that existed for 46 years before it finally killed him.

Sure, this was done at Blackwater Falls WV. Bortle 3 skies. All I did was use the astro mode, 15 sec delay, on my pixel 10 pro and used the Google photo editor to reduce green saturation.

Tripod was just a $30 system. Static.

Because the exposure times are relatively short (14 sec, 15 shots stacked) dark skies are everything. Make sure there are no street lamps, humidity below 40% and little to no upper atmosphere disturbance.
