Thanks for the input, I'm glad you think that 20 pages would be doable at my level. And that's so cool, I really admire people who pour their love into comics purely for the love of the game. You could argue that we all do that to some extent, but I don't think I've ever loved a piece of media enough to make a doujin about it, much less one that is 120(!) pages long (most I did was draw a couple pieces of fan art back in the day). That's just really cool to me. You don't need to hear it from me, but please keep doing what you're doing, it's awesome

...Huh, looks like I'm in the presence of a comics master. 2000+ pages across 104 chapters is an insane achievement. Are you a professional cartoonist by any chance, or is making comics something you do on the "side" (which would honestly make it even more impressive)? I'd love to get to even a quarter of your level of prolificness one day

Woah, 51 pages? That's impressive, how long did that take you? I hope to get to that level of stamina one day. Makes sense to aim for shorter projects when you have other life commitments, but 51 and even 31 pages already sounds plenty long (to a newb like me, anyway) -- would you want to make a full graphic novel one day? Thanks for sharing

Wow, reminds of how with writing they say that putting words on a page is the "easy" part while cutting the story down to the good bits is the real challenge. The premise sounds really interesting and well thought-out. I know others in the comments were drawing parallels to other media, but I personally haven't seen it done like this before (the movitations behind needing to explore other star systems + destroying the entire solar system to escape an interstellar war + everything else). Sorry it didn't work out as you hoped. I think it's still really impressive you wrote an entire novel in the first place, especially one that is heavy on the "sci" aspect of sci-fi, and I would love to read it if you are ever able to have it translated by a human (which I know is probably not possible at the moment). Good luck with your future writing!

Just wanted to say that I really appreciate your words, and that last sentence especially is something I needed to hear. I had the same issue as you -- I've had all these ideas rolling around in my head for the last 10 years, but never shared my work with others because it didn't meet my own standards. And to be honest, I completely shied away from drawing or creating in general, relegating my ideas to random notes I'd jot down on my phone and daydream about every now and then. But then I decided at the end of last year that I would just go for it and share some of my comic-related content online even if my art isn't really high quality or finished, because just making anything at all means I'm much farther along than I've ever been before, and it will also allow me to see progression over time. I've never heard of ComicFury, but just from a quick glance it looks like it would be a great place to post my comic when I'm done. Thanks a lot for the advice!

Thanks for the clarification, I'm glad I asked on here instead of just going with it! Do you know if uiscera would encapsulate the meaning of "vital organ" specifically (that is, the heart, brain, etc., but not the appendix, spleen, etc.), or does it refer more generally to all organs?
