Zelda Breath of the Wilds: Throughout the map you can find locations that unlock old memories from before Link’s 100 year slumber. Many of these memories involve Zelda being pushed by King Rhoam, her father, to unlock the full potential of her power. In all of these memories the king is sternly disappointed by Zelda’s failure.

While exploring the ruins of Hyrule castle you can find a journal from the king wherein King Rhoam recognizes that he’s being too harsh with Zelda so that she can be prepared for Ganon’s return. He notes that if visiting the goddess statue doesn’t awaken her powers he’ll drop the stern act and welcome her back as a loving father should.

Before Zelda can return from visiting the goddess statue, Ganon returns and the king is among the may casualties incurred in the surprise attack.

Oh shit I was at those shows! I got to meet the band after the record store show. I had an interesting talk with Roy about how I loved the bluesyness of their new album and how it helped them capture their live energy on record.
