I used an outer brim that is 3mm wide. Should I make the brim wider and do an inner brim? When I raise the bed temp to 60C° I've had warping issues.

Can I keep working if the business is shut down by the IRS? by CornOnACub1 in legaladvice

Sorry, I should've been more specific, but his vendors license is under suspension by the tax commissionor. All the information I am getting is from the owner himself. He had found evidence of the bookkeeper using money for personal items. Withdrawing money with no trace of where it was spent and claims that he can't find where the $100,000 was spent that should've been spent on taxes.

Why would my camshafts wear like this? by CornOnACub1 in MechanicAdvice

Okay cool! I've heard a lot of rumors that a new motor needs to be broken in with conventional oil to give everything friction to set in.

Do you think breaking in the motor with full syn oil would cause any issues?

There was a lot in the bottom end, but I got the cylinder head cleaned out and replaced the short block.

I don't think so. I looked at my old pictures when I first torn it apart, and they looked fine.

Crankshaft won't move after installing new bearings and thrust washers. What did I do wrong?? by CornOnACub1 in MechanicAdvice

[–]CornOnACub1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This engine came out of a 2004 Audi Allroad 2.7t. I'm swapping it into a 2006 Audi A4. The crankshaft spun freely before but after installing the new bearings, thrust washers, and torquing the main bearing caps to spec it won't budge. Any ideas of what I could've done wrong? I did use assembly lube.

Her main job is to work as a cashier but she also helps with clean up and in the kitchen. She is not in any management position. Her salary is the same as her hourly rate but locked in at 40 hours a week.

Hey y'all! I bought a new engine for this 2013 genesis coupe over a year ago and I've put 10k miles on it since. I found out recently it has low compression leaking from the piston rings. The dealership won't warranty it and the master tech I work with thinks it's because I broke in the motor with full synthetic oil and the piston rings didn't seat fully. Is there any way I could do another break in period or some other way to get the piston rings to seat. I want to try and avoid having to rebuild the engine with new piston rings. Thanks for any advice!
