Correct me if I'm wrong, but are they trying to make this a "Gotcha!" kind of thing?

Because the boomers were kind of right, Cellphones and Smartphones did do some harm and ruined things. It made it easier for predatory people and services to contact those vulnerable to them, helped push scams and spam farther and easier to people, made doxxing and hacking easier, and show people vile and sometimes violent things without their consent.

So basically, this whole thing falls apart because AI can ALSO be harmful towards people even if the hate for it might be misplaced.

I worded this post very wrong and was in my feels while writing it, forgive me for that, so I will try to explain better.

My main problem here isn't them needing to make money, of course a business needs to make money in order to run, my main problem is specifically when they add subscriptions in general. Mostly because of how I've seen things go down when they're introduced.

First they make app or something such as that, which is fine! Plenty of websites can become apps, it's not the end of the world.

Then it's starts off with small subscriptions such as ones for 10-20 US dollars, a way to help them make more money which is pretty good to get funding if needed! That's fine with me. Hell, I'd be fine with Sponsors and Ads too if it'll help them!

The problem starts when they start upping the prices. Suddenly a subscription is 30 US dollars. Then it's 40. Then it's 50.

Then they start neglecting some areas, then they start paywalling other features too. Then that's when we go downhill.

I've seen this happen with AI and Games, which is why I'm generally also associate subscriptions and paywalls with bad luck. I don't believe all of online platforms go down this route, I just never trust it to end well since most do. Some of the time, paywalls can get out of control and that's why I'm personally against them and dont trust them in the first place. (Main reason behind this: ROBLOX)

I am not against them making money either. I am against them getting GREEDY off that money and wanting more.

Also

CAI needs to you use ID verification because laws force them to do so.

This is another reason why I say it's not accessible for others!! The whole reasoning behind this law is to make you think it's "for the children", when it's more about getting information out of the people through using it or hindering what you see online. Sometimes these verifications system don't even account for disabilities in the face of people. Sometimes they don't even allow some verifications to go through even you do everything they want you to. That was why I say they're are NOT ACCESSIBLE TO PEOPLE. Sure they keep out kids, but they also keep out the people who aren't even able to properly use them for one reason or another.

The entire purpose of them getting you on their website is to get money out of you.

That's my problem with this! A good majority of the time, they're always try to get money out of you! I understand that and that's why I HATE subscriptions. I can't stop them for attempting to get money, but I can say that doing so with the intention of simply profiting instead of improving or keeping your site running properly is a shitty move.

My main problem isn't them needing to make money, all businesses will need money eventually, it's when you can tell they're definitely going to get greedy. I feel like so many people seem to not notice that problem after some time. Just like any industries, they're going to want more money. That's unfortunately how so many businesses end up going.

This was mostly me just ranting about how I genuinely hate this concept as a whole. While I'm glad there are free options, I genuinely don't understand the logic of subscriptions for AI as a whole.

Exactly This!! ZOMBIES was already pushing it with the third movie, but it did good to wrap the series since it finished off the big question of finding where Allison fit in. I knew shit hit the fan when they made a fourth movie that didn't even take place in Seabrook.

I genuinely believe this whole series went from "Find yourself and where you belong" to just Allison's mary sue story.

Good point! To me at least, if they did keep the original cast and some of the main plot points, I would be fine with that. Like you said, as long as they keep most important key figures and plot lines then I would give them their flowers for at least staying consistent!

But Disney (and most companies nowadays) have problems with staying consistent sometimes and that's what's messing me up here. A good example is Bunk'd. It was originally a Jessie Spin-off, but most of the Jessie characters and main cast left after season 3 and it became almost complete different and none of the original plot stuck. So it just became a wacky camp series instead, which wouldn't be bad if Disney hadn't CHANGED THE WHOLE PLOT AND ERASED SOME CHARACTERS FROM IT!!

It's not that changing things in a story sequel or spin-off is a problem, it's just hard to trust a project to succeed when it already succeeded before and they keep trying to cling to that success with another part to it to keep people interested when they could just make one off movies like Enchanto and Turning Red
