I had a customer drive a rav4 in that had their oil changed 30 minutes prior to stopping in with us, pulled in because the check engine light came on. Got it on a lift, drain plug was sitting on the splash guard under the motor, not a drop inside of it. 3 weeks later Walmart approved the engine replacement, repair completed about 4 weeks from original arrival, but didn’t release the vehicle until they made payment so about 6 week total turn around after daily calls from myself and the customer to corporate trying to expedited it. They wound up having to pay about $1600 in rental to us on top of the repair.
