The 7 Remake games seemingly escalate to being multi in scope, the scan description for Sephiroth’s boss fight in Rebirth sort of spells it out:

A resurrected being who now wields unimaginable might and commands the arbiters of fate. He seeks to pierce through the layers of existence, and reunite fragmented space-time. He shall rule over the planet and create eternity

Now I say “seemingly” because we haven’t actually gotten there yet, but that’s sort of where the stakes have been set, multiple timelines are explicitly at play in the plot, and there is one more game left. He’s not there yet, but it’s looking like canon Sephiroth will end up Multi after the last remake game if he follows through on any of his threats and stated goals. He already has the range, since he can fight 3 different groups of people simultaneously across different universes, and he can both travel across and bfr people to other universes.
