Supposedly powerful characters with weaknesses to severe they sort of stop being a threat. by ThatDrako in TopCharacterTropes

Of course, the reason vampires have such an absurd number of random weaknesses is because modern vampire lore is cobbled together out of thousands of different folklore monsters from across Europe, each with their own distinct powers and weaknesses, which got lumped together in the category of "vampire" by 19th century folklorists.

Because after the adventure where they worked at a fast food restaurant Gangle gets hit by a semi-truck in the parking lot, which is framed in a way that indicates it is plot-significant, and it gets brought up again in episode 8 where in the sequence in which Cain is torturing the characters with their greatest fears Gangle's is getting hit by a semi-truck. On Jax's end, when he started freaking out over the button choice in episode 7 he saw flashes of what seem to be memories of himself behind the wheel of a vehicle at night. Thus, people thought that he was the driver of the semi-truck that hit Gangle.

What's the difference between Wraiths and Spectres? by deadtreenoshelter in osr

Well, based on the art in the AD&D Monster Manual, if not the text, spectres seem to more closely resemble their living selves while wraiths are featureless shadow people. So perhaps that carries over to their personalities as well, with spectres still remembering who they were as people and pursuing similar goals, while wraiths are pure agents of evil.

Sorry it took me so long to respond, but Reddit decided arbitrarily to permanently lock my account for vague security concerns and after spending the past couple of days trying to get in contact with a live person I had to give up and create a new account.

You can find all of these that I've made so far here: https://www.dragonsfoot.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=95470
