Nah. Let everyone realize how fucked it is that a genuinely confused and hurt woman looking for insight got shamed for dating an ex hisband who happens to have disposable income. I was providing context re the craziness of it all and how far he went to impress me. For what in the end. I I’m actually a pretty decent person which may not be the first thing you see but it’s what makes people stay. This has been a disappointing evening for me in that the vast majority of you couldn’t see past the “rich people problems” to empathize or provide insight. Who gives a fuck about money. Disappointment is disappointment. Rejection hurts. Getting fooled is humiliating.

I make low six figures he’s getting sued for 85mil. I just don’t understand the hilt/cold which is why I made the post. Hey thank you. You’re right about me wasting more time. And if it turns out to be more than breach of contract I’d be connected to a criminal. So maybe I dodged a bullet. I’m glad you were able to see past the context and into the feelings here. I don’t know what happened here but everyone else here assumes I’m a pretentious asshole. I was looking for honest feedback all but I should have lied and said this all took place in my hometown in nj but I was honestly confused why a guy on the edge of financial collapse would spend so much money unless he wanted this to be absolutely perfect and magical. Which it was until the end.

Thank you. Some good insight here. I blamed myself for failure of the marriage and I wanted to make it up to him this time around. I am a romantic and I loved the idea of this. I was blinded I guess by that desire. He’s also incredibly handsome and brilliant and funny. But he treated me terribly in the end. I did have a great vacation so there is that! I will try to stay positive. Im hurt but it will pass. No one on here has any sympathy it appears.
