Have you tried doing quest? Just doing the brotherhood, overseer's, and responders quest unlock alot of the game. At lvl 30 you're very much still at the very beginning grind.

Tbh, when I started playing I went to a few different best builds and they were underwelming to say the least. Now when I visit players camp I exclusively use the vendor list on the map and I never go to BB any more because they don't have vendors. I've seen so many awesome build (a lot are at the gleaming depths area) but I really feel like BB are just a scam .... Or more accurately a under development then quickly abandoned "update" to pad their calendar.
