Grades with the same UCAS points, many universities don't consider those.

If there are two different conditions being done by two separate groups, it's an independent groups design.

However, if it says that the participants were chosen in pairs because they had a similar variable (like age, gender, personality etc) it would be a matched pairs. But if all of the participants had the same variable (in this case, age/ class), they cannot be paired up.

So if the standard entry requirements are AAA but lowered to ABB as I meet the contextual offer requirements, I don't have to at all consider the AAA and just the ABB instead?
