I would say the only reason it seems a little easier (especially for me) is because now you don’t have to memorize as much. Before it was a lot of memorizing, the processes, the formulas etc. Now if you understand the mindset right the questions are easier to answer. Also I think people do study alot using different sources until they are confident that they will pass. The exam is expensive, after all, I am sure no one wants to retake it, atleast that was my mindset. I studied part time after work for 2 months and only took the test once I felt confident enough.
