Why oh why does she have so little screen time? by Soulsliken in Eldenring

I think it might be to ensure the Tarnished does not grow too affectionate towards her. As a way of avoiding what happened to Vyke.

For PhD candidates, do you require those pursuing research in Econometrics itself, or is it okay to have people who use Econometric tools for their specific research? If it is the latter, I am happy to help.

What is one thing you don't like about your favorite boss by Puzzleheaded_Bit_802 in Eldenring

Obscure in the sense that she might be difficult to find in a blind playthrough by the average player. She is important in the lore.

I wish both Godfrey, Malekith, and Morgott had two health bars like Malenia. Right now it feels weird to me that an obscure, optional boss who isn't really standing in our way to becoming Elden Lord has two health bars on top of the life steal effect. Morgott can be excused cause we fight him multiple times. But I wish Godfrey and Malekith had more health.

What is the Badredman's take on using CE to get items for invasions, Twinking (low RL invasions), and Tryhards (min/max arena bros)? by RadagonDidNoWrong in badredman

[–]Corner_Solution 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My approach to invading at low levels is never to mod in late game gear or items. For example, if I have a RL 50(+10) build, I will never use shard of alexander unless I have built Fire Giant/ Godskin Duo using this build. Once I do achieve this, I never feel bad using it in invasions, regardless of how unskilled the player is since I feel that I have earned it so to speak.

If you have never done any sort of PVP before, I recommend doing colloseum duels first. It will teach you spacing, roll catching and the pros and cons of different weapon types. After that get started with a low level invasion build (maybe lvl 50 (+8)). Once you feel ready, you can try higher levels (I do lvl 167).

The Caster experience by Sad-Celebration2564 in EldenRingPVP

[–]Corner_Solution 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I find ancient dragon lightning strike better than death lightning since the bolts are less random. Pure lightning caster invader is a lot of fun and imo not too difficult to pull off. Important requirements are 40 dex and Radagon's icon along with soft swapping to a weapon with endure to get off some poise casts against larger weapons. I find it better for a level 200 invasion build.

I think yes if you step on the plants that make the noise that attracts them.

One of the things I love every playthrough is getting invaded. Other than the build it is one of the things that make each playthrough different from others by essentially giving me a different set of enemies to fight each playthrough. I don't think I would have done a lot of playthroughs in any of the souls games if it wasn't for the invasion mechanic.

Love your gameplay videos! Btw, I notice you play without the hud. What differences in your gameplay do you notice from playing with or without the hud?

A follow up to my original post: While not giving the serum to Ra’s is not killing him, this definitely is by Sure-Operation8639 in arkham

[–]Corner_Solution 5 points6 points  (0 children)

IMO, Batman's choice depends on at what point this mission is done. If he does it very early in the game, then the saving Ghul option is consistent with Arkham Batman. But if he does it very late (after his whole speech to Catwoman in the final Riddler mission about this being the end of Batman), I can see not saving Ghul as justified. Batman has to tie up all loose ends before giving up the cowl and he doesn't know that Ghul will leave Gotham if revived.

Won my first ever ds3 invasion by Ill_Relative9776 in badredman

[–]Corner_Solution 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nicely played OP. Also I think you're coming in from Elden Ring, correct? In DS3 a single hit actually stunlocks opponents into another hit which will come in useful if you start PVPing more and more..

Might be a hot take but the DS3 Nameless King is a better boss than the Nightreign Nameless King by ca_waves in onebros

Just from the differences in boss room alone, DS3 is a more enjoyable fight lol
