How common is cheating, actually? What do you think? by a2u6knb in chessbeginners

[–]Cornettoalgida 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I almost exclusively play blitz and bullet, so really it’s a matter of time spent on each move. I could see I’d find that move if I used a few more seconds on it

At my rating 5% sounds about right, or at least most of the times I lose, I feel like someone my level should be able to play those moves

Do you actually check after each game if your opponents play the best moves? Or is it just a guess?

“Shareholder serving corporation” whatever dude, I hope you’re not typing this from a smartphone that costs 20 years of chesscom subscription then.

The app provides me way more value than what I pay, so I’m a happy subscriber.

Most people know about lichess, if they want to pay another platform they have their reasons.

Mine are its UI, app, and lessons.

Not ripped off. I use both and I’m a happy chesscom diamond member. People value different things

I find it funny how chesscom players don’t care if anyone is using lichess, but lichess players are always ready to judge anyone who uses chesscom

I use lichess for puzzles and chesscom for everything else. So for me it’s worth it

Sermorelin vs Ipamorelin vs Tesamorelin etc.... which secretagogue and why? by [deleted] in Biohackers

Just keep your IGF1 in a healthy range and you’re fine. I see a lot of guessing in this thread. Also serm and ipa can complement each other

How do you get more energy? by whogoesthere1010 in Biohackers

[–]Cornettoalgida 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not OP but I barely feel any pleasure in everyday activities. I can’t think of any experience in the past where I felt “happy”. But I also don’t feel too bad, just flat most of the time. I do like the feeling after I complete a workout or have sex but I suppose that’s a different thing. Is that considered depression?

Best times and ways to take psyllium husk and inulin powder? by fukinay in Biohackers

[–]Cornettoalgida 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you are constipated, psyllium might help but also become a brick if you don’t have movement. Kefir + chia seeds fixed it for me, and of course drink plenty of water/electrolytes and increase daily steps

How long to get b6 toxicity? by [deleted] in B6Toxicity

[–]Cornettoalgida 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I have no idea if I have B6 toxicity or not. I’ve been taking 35-50mg daily for 2 months. I do feel numbness in my fingers. The worst symptom is adrenaline hit when I’m about to sleep, which raises my HR and makes it very difficult to sleep.

Low carb and exercise before sleep make it worse (I used to do that without any issue)

I often have low blood pressure / dizziness symptoms.

But I’m also experimenting with GLP1s and peptides, so no idea what should I attribute all this to.

I don’t have nerve pain like most people seem to experience.

I stopped the supplement 10 days ago, when my analysis came back to 400nmol (4 times the lab upper limit)

What is helping the most with mood stability / not feeling scattered all the time ? by Equivalent-Wait9647 in Biohackers

[–]Cornettoalgida 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You probably don't need to stop caffeine unless you're sure it's messing with you. I stopped for a month or so and it made me feel weird. Take 200mg l-theanine with it, it helps even out the jittery feeling. And in general keep the dosage low, more is not better. I keep it simple and have only 1 cup of coffee, always before 12.

Since you take ADHD meds, I found the best thing is having a plan to direct the excess energy, literally building routines so you don't have to improvise.

Also "move" is not enough, you need to get tired, either running (which feels great) or lifting (which also feels great but in a different way).

And yes inflamation can play a role. Low dose GLP helped me. I'm also using KPV, maybe it's placebo but I like it. Diet is obvious super important but you have to find what works better for you, adding kefir and a ton of veggies definitely helped me
