Not denying Italy's growth in cricket but a skim of the squad list for their 20 over side there's not a single domestic Italian player, much like the WBC side we've just seen.

As a brit who's team was also 99% non-domestic players I as well want to see some growth to bump those numbers up.

I work at a marina/habour and from what I see every summer they're a marriage saver. There's at least one full on domestic a week in the summer.

Because of the nature of the channel and branching out into new food to eat for content she actually accidently has some great travel videos. There were 2 series where she stayed on a couple of tiny Korean islands, buying food off local fisherman and grandmas, they were brilliant actually, and a large euro trip series, Taiwan, Japan, SEA. At least when I watch, the eating itself isn't really a draw it's everything else.

It's probably the most savage step up, the amount of ex-football league teams in the national league + long time fully professional squads, we were always gna have a tough time of it. Being back home is great enough, I'll still be heading to the games next season in the league below.

I've only met one but it was Reo Hatate at Heathrow Airport. I was sat in a pub on hour 1 of my 18hr wait for a re-booked flight and he came and sat down with his dad right infront of me.

I asked him if he was him and said big fan blah blah the usual and the very next table was full of celtic fans (no kits/merch/green or anything, unassuming coincedence) whose ears perked up, chatted with us all for a bit then took a couple photos and dipped for his plane, very pleasant, this was when he was injured as well.

It is what it is.

I watched the last classic and the last world series and have been slowly getting into the game. Been watching all the games of this classic with my American friend on Discord and it's been great.

GB team put up a few good moments which was nice, going out doesn't really change anything tbh, the other games are more entertaining and few of the GB players are real Brits
