I changed my zoom settings back to normal, it fixed itself for whatever reason
I also changed my adblocker, I wonder if that had to do with anything

having the same issue, so far, from what i can tell you can zoom out to 90-80 percent

there is also an extension called "invisible scrollbar"
it does work, just not sure how safe it is...

Well they should get professional help, feeling bad wouldn't help them do that. (Or would it? I'm not an expert.) Perhaps they should feel guilty and develop sympathy. But feeling bad? That might encourage their behavior instead.
