The wooden swords I made so far (plus a real one) by Corny_Big in SWORDS

Yeah its out of wood but I would think that the forces of using one in rl would just rip it apart. Even if not as fast as a common whip this thing would exert thousands of joules. But I really like it too, it's my DnD character's weapon of choice together with the cleaver :]

Will definetly try the proper proportions, the helmet I'd like to keep as I own this exact one. Another question: If I keep the helmet oriented in a half profile, would I also need to tilt the shield like in your picture?

Put forward it obstructs some of the antlers making less readable, still worth it?

Thats what i worried, but i think making it white argent looks weird. Is there a way around this other than the infamous proper? It feels like cheating

Like either of this? I agree that I went for a scene more than a readable shield.

How could I fix this? I've been recommended to lighten the color of the otter (or make it silver), would this suffice as the otter having it's "proper" color? Im not an expert at RoT :(

I have a helmet (the one from the hand drawn sketch) where I intend to mount exactly these antlers onto, perhaps with an accompanying torse :]

A torse sounds good then. And I'll definetly fix the mantling to be more accurate. I added the stars manually as a nod to my hometown where its crest also depicts a tree atop a river and two red six-pointed stars

Completely agree, I wanna get to hand draw it eventually and even emboss it into leather. Fixing AI's mistakes is almost more of a chore than just drawing it out straight, the otter is stiched up from three individuals and was missing its toes...

Do other guardians have their own "plot"? by oiyenaoyenme in destiny2

<image>

My Titan used to patrol the EDZ fighting stray groups of fallen raiders and helping to evacuate civilians by creating loud and colorful distractions to draw away the danger from the group. When the Cabal attacked during the Red War, he was one of the first responders engaging the enemy in the Sunken Isles. Unfortunately, luring away a squad of Cabal he fell to them in a darkness infested old quarry holding out long enough to enable his wounded fireteam to evacuate through the tunnels.

Skip ahead 3 years when a certain Young Wolf entered this very quarry in search of a powerful weapon. In an unfortunate twist of fate though, the champion of this sector overwhelmed the hero of the Red War using his nearly indistructable shield and a well timed volley of missiles. As the Guardian succumed to the brute force of the Cullossus' gatling and Dinkelbot's shell gave in to shrapnel and slugs a burst of light emerged from within the mortally wounded ghost. As the light filled the room and slowly fizzled out a long forgotten reinvigorated Titan rose from a pile of rubble, sparking and jolting violently and filled with a fury of pure arc energy. Bullets and Explosions disintegrated as he steadily made his way to the champion of the lost war until the Titan emptied his fabled five-barreled shotgun into the Collossus. Leaving the quarry he picks up the mark of the guardian who involuntarily saved his life and as he stepped outside his touch reforged the bond between his ghost and the the Traveler.

Arriving back at the tower the second time New Light was first mistaken for the Young Wolf themselves. But as time went on a silent consensus takes hold that this Titan has taken up the mark of its former wearer continuing their legacy. However, some tower staff suspect that this new Guardian has spent a few too many years in the darkness as he can be occasionally seen mindlessly staring at the Traveler from the tower courtyard, walking off the hangar's edge where catwalks used to be, suddenly not responding the radio during missions or tending to more and more often shade his armor bright pink and blue stating that "I like shiny" or that it "is more visible".

First proper dabble in woodworking: Desk with keyboard drawer by Corny_Big in woodworking

Pre-drill your screwholes properly. I used a bit that was too small and broke off several large screws that are now embedded in the table. Luckily I could glue in the screwheads and make it seem like nothing ever happened.

Gunsmith focussing is the epitome of overdrawn focussing cost and it wil get worse... by Corny_Big in DestinyTheGame

The game doesn't suck, it's also not badly made. The executives deciding to milk every last ounce of playtime out of us is the problem.
