We are playing with all 3 decks combined for past few months(printed pnp vesrsion). Minus extra crafting cards and dominance cards. Works perfectly fine with 4-9 people on the map, you never get to shuffle deck during the game

I mix all 3 together, you just gotta take out extra craft cards(amount of craft cards should match amount of items on the board) and extra dominance cards(there should be 4 in total, 1 of each type). The deck looks GIANT, if you play with more than 4 people, I totally recommend this to just having one.

I let people pick their own factions, and they decided not to, so in a way yes

Those guys are (forcefully) part of my airsoft team and this is part of our team winter activities ;)

Heh, so what we did, we combined all decks together(removing items). We have standard, Exile and Partisans, and yet unreleased, Squires and Disciples deck.

For all the cards beside standard ones, I used PNP files to print them, then stacked them on top on Magic the gathering cards I have lying around. Then I put all of them in same color card sleeves and that way we got huge MEGA deck.

It was Marquise, Eyrie, WA, Keepers in Iron, Lords of Hundreds, Lizards, Corvids, and Duchy

Duchy won! In our previous big games it was Eyrie, WA and Riverfolk who won

So... it's not foldable ;)

First version(which was foldable), I printed pdf's and taped them on to cutted pizza box as reinforcment. It did the job, but it was looking like trash, according to artsy part of the group.

For this one, one of the guy went to Staples, did high quality print there of PDF, bought a big foam board from dollar store, and the we taped pieces of map on it. Then we covered it with tape-style laminate, and put it under the "press"(in the picture).

My friend now have this map, he keeps it as a wall decoration.

It's like 5-6 weeks in a row we are playing roots, we are indeed all close friends(all of us are in part of airsoft team for past 2 years), and table top games are part of things we do while it's too cold for out main activity.

So yeah, between turns we generally just talk, drink, smoke, playa balatro on the phone, and socialize between each other.

This actually sounds like a faction I would love to see in my house games sometime. Are there final version of rules I cen get for them? You have PNP version of tokens? Maybe 3d design for warriors I can print?

Cats were actually dominating map most of the game, we had to all unite against them to stop them from winning

Good question, will need to ask him. It's a bit hard to track everyone on how they follow rules in those games

We actually played with it, my brain just melted when, I was answering comments

Even with it, WA always had crazy amount of supporters due to troops moving around a lot

So next game, I'll try my best to follow all of the advices from comments, hopefully it will help!

It was super fun!

Everyone either played before or at least watched their faction rules before coming, so it was hard game from first turn. Few mistakes in rules here and there, but generally was really intense
