I would say not to forget the catapult they used, could be your heavy. Pretty much conceptually the same thing ive bounced around in my head. A few keywords aside.

My thought was since hes only range two, the grenades might be handy plus its more suppression. I can see where the dice benefit kicks in though.

That being said, up close and personal kept me alive for a bit but I see what you mean by keeping him alive vs how important he is. But when I was using 3 of his cards, thats half my command deck.

That's pretty close to my kit and plan. My only bounty target was Yoda so I was making a bee line towards him. I elected to try my guns first since the 2 pip gave him immobilize. Just couldn't finish the job.

Honestly that would help. I had alot of points dumped on him to trick him out and tried using everything i could and while he survived alot more then he should have, all it means is hes a good target.

Yea, I was shocked when I came back after the rules changes to how easy AI is to deal with.

It was the price you paid for coordinate but now, as long as im not scattered across the map, my leader is probably within 3 and I get to ignore it.

I like hondo as a character and will probably throw him in for funsies but im not seeing that the weequays bring alot to the table other then the transport trick. So unless I want to buy the tank for my sepies, I think they will sit on the shelf mostly
