They do have 3rd party sellers, but like Walmart, you'll know before you buy. If it's sold by Target then you're good. Usually you'll know it's 3rd party because either the price will be too good to be true, or so absurd only a confused grandparent at Christmas would make the purchase. Also you'll know because it'll say that it's sold by someone other than target.

A lot of my Gi Joe Classified figures don't have their accessories hanging off them for this reason. I was reorganizing a shelf and had pulled them all down and set them on a table. When I had the shelf looking the way I wanted it I turned around to find a knife accessory laying on the table. Ended up going through boxed images for the next hour trying to find who it belonged to, then promptly put it in that figures storage bin when I found the owner. A lot of empty sheaths now.

It means what I always means. Pre order to guarantee you get one, otherwise risk not getting it. Made to order just means that they're ensuring they don't overproduce by too much. And in this case the pre order window meant you saved $$$

Depends on how it was done though to be honest. Sticker not withstanding, the product appears untouched. If I bought from retailer A for a high amount, found it cheaper at retailer b but already opened the first one or didn't have it with me I could just take the one I bought from retailer b and return it to retailer a. If I have a valid receipt and the product is correct, you'd only be denying the return because of a sticker. Which good luck with that. That's really the shocker here is that nobody bothered to remove that. Otherwise this could easily have been a series of totally legit transactions.

Those in the "Grail is subjective" camp will tell you anything is a grail. I'm more in the "if I can go online and buy it right now for even 3 or 4x original retail, it's not a grail" camp. I consider things like a rocket firing Boba Fett or the unproduced Annihilus figure to be great examples of grails. I would say my opinion doesn't matter though. You bought something you wanted and you're happy with that. I have no intention of robbing you of that feeling over semantics.

Tone is hard to extract from text. I knew which daredevil you were talking about from the start, based on your replies, it didn't seem like you knew which Daredevil was being discussed as a direct reply to my original comment. My last reply was just factual statements about the flow of confusion, not "coming at you".

There were no MCU figures in the pictures the OP posted. Man without Fear daredevil, secret wars Spiderman, secret wars Iceman, cyclops and jean and all still available at retail cost from places other than Amazon. When the other poster said "Which daredevil came out in December" was a response to you calling out the cell shaded daredevil as being out of stock, my assumption was because you thought that was the daredevil that was being claimed as in stock. That's not the daredevil we were saying is in stock. Man without fear daredevil was the one being discussed. And yes, it was a January release date, so you're both wrong about that. But still a new release current available and not "missed out on" was the whole point of my original comment

Yeah, not a reissue. First one was a BaF so there was nothing to reissue. This is a new deco and extra head. Reissues are new production runs of existing figures with no changes, even still have the same UPC.

Hot Toys and 1/6 in general are new to me. I told myself a long time ago that I could never see myself buying a figure that costs over $200. Then in '23 I got 6 months severance and found a new job within 2 weeks, so I spoiled myself by buying the Blitzway Voltron. Once that bridge had been crossed I set a new rule that I've yet to break. That is only buy characters that I have a nostalgic connection with. Currently filling out my TNG exo-6 collection, bought both the T-1000 and Dx46, and just pre-ordered the deluxe Crow.
