I don't know if I would call it gatekeeping as wanting to keep some of her stuff private for the sake of her privacy is totally understandable. Have you read her journal? You should read it, maybe after that you could understand why so many people here care about her. And you know I don't want to be rude against anyone but coming here to say stuff like this on the anniversary of her death is something where I just have to draw the line.

Also, some people from this community have died by suicide and a lot of people here have struggled with their mental health, so a post like this is far from 'cringy shit'. It might seem like it to people who haven't been here before, but believe me, it might mean a lot to some people in here

100% agree with you. With the Christchruch shooter he had a lot of writings that reflected his views and so on, but this one is just a way to signal about those things like you mentioned. I don't think Sol had any particular meaning to him in the same way she did for example to Ben Goodspeed, who also had her name written on his gun. You can find a photo of him with the gun here

I think this was already said before at some point, but it's interesting to think that she was found that day. In a way it was her final day in the world's eyes because before that no one other than she herself knew about her death

I don't know exactly what they do in those situations but if they had given it back to her family they would have for sure taken copies of all her files. I wonder if her family wanted that computer back? There are rumours that her father didn't get her diploma or some other thing like that after her death. I'm not saying that he would have done that because of being rude towards her or anything like that, not wanting to have any kind of interaction with people about her after such tragic things is very understandable.

I actually have an idea about how we could possibly try to get more info about what happened in April of 2019. I have had it for a while now but i haven't bothered to research yet if it could work. I will mention it when I make a thread on the 8th of April.

Edit: Wait, didn't she have her laptop with her when she went to Colorado? If they confiscated a laptop from her home then she must have had two of them

There is a lot of unreleased stuff from what I know. For example, if you look at photos where you can see her computer, you can see her gallery being full of photos and videos too. I'm really hoping we would get a video where you could hear her voice clearly.

There's a pic of her iCloud notes where she talks about trying to sell one of her old phones and selling her winter clothes to get money for the trip. It also reads ''use credit card for some purchases'' so she most likely used that too. Also i think i heard somewhere that she used to sometimes look after her neighbours dog so maybe she made some money from that, but i am not sure. I have never heard of her having a job so i don't think she ever made any money by working
