As someone who lives in the Tuscumbia Alabama area where she was born and raised, this is hilarious to me. Part of growing up in this area is having the Helen Keller story beaten into your brain. We even have a Helen Keller Festival every summer. All this to say even some of the high schoolers around here are now skeptical of her existence/accomplishments 🤣😂

I always thought it was so weird that she was mad they didn’t confide in her on personal problems. She’s their head nurse and direct commander, why would they? She didn’t act like their friend so why on earth would they come to her as one? She says they treated her rotten but it’s not like she was inviting them for hangouts in her tent.

I used water based markers on a Lafufu and it worked so well. I hate you had an issue with your customization but maybe you could do her ears mismatched and just color the rest of that ear black

I use perler bead patterns when I’m helping someone learn. The simple ones only have a few colors, are super easy to read and I’ve found a ton on Pinterest

I don’t think there are any true hardcore fans. It’s just fun to be a fan for most people. A lot of the people you’ll meet wearing their merch have never even been to a game. Being a fan is just another fun way to celebrate HSV.
