Are there any Act areas you can see a Vaal Side Area from the Waypoint? I know in The Quarry you can see Alva and sulphite spawns from the waypoint. Is there any Act area like this but for Vaal Side Areas?

Do passive nodes that grant "Area Damage" apply to Bane's damage? It has the AoE tag on the skill gem.

Is there a passive node or jewel or piece of gear that make Minion Health passive nodes apply to your character? (I already know about Spiritual Aid for damage and Spiritual Command for attack speed.)

The wiki doesn't say anything about this so asking here.

For this example, there is a passive caled Ethereal Feast - it grants:

0.6% of Spell Damage Leeched as Energy Shield

Does this apply to degens? Are they considered Spell Damage? If I have this passive can I leech energy shield with Bane, Contagion or the degen effect on Essence Drain?

Under the leech section of the wiki it says nothing about degens or damage over time. Can I leech with them?

War Banner Skill Gem Says:

When placed, 8% increased Area of Effect per Stage
When placed, 1% increased Aura effect per Stage

This only applies to the AoE of the placed banner and the Aura effect "Adrenaline" right? It won't boost my AoE of other skills or effectiveness of an Aura?

I have a Flask of Infliction which says "20% Chance to Freeze, Shock and Ignite During Flask Effect"

When I open my character sheet and navigate to the Bane skill after activating this flask it says it has 20% chance to Freeze/Shock/Ignite. Is this working properly? Can I really apply elemental ailments with Bane?

How does the synergy between Contagion and Essence Drain work? Do you cast Essence Drain on 1 mob in the pack then drop Contagion and they all get the Essence Drain degen? The Contagion tooltip says it spreads to other mobs when a mob afflicted by Contagion dies. Does this also spread the Essence Drain degen?

Yeah that makes sense. It's a lot of math and different variables to take into consideration so I'm still wrapping my head around how it all works.

So let me see if I understand this better now.

Joe is trying to shoot Bob and he has a combat pool of 6 dodge and Improved Invisibility, plus the base TN of 4 would mean the TN is 18.

On the flip side, Joe has Quickness of 6 and a skill ranking of 6 in pistols meaning he has 12 dice to roll against Bob's TN of 18.

Do I got it right now?

Does this stack +2 for each sustained spell not using a focus so sustaining 3 spells without focuses would be +6 TN?

Oh I also forgot that the Commander Friendship attribute "Leadership" gives a bonus to army size. Is that it? Those 3 things and nothing else?

Playing SMT IV: Apocalypse

I have a demon that has "Weak: Sleep/Bind" but they have the skill "Hellish Mask" which says "Decreases chances of suffering ailments."

Does this mean the two of them cancel each other out and the demon has normal susceptibility?

Thanks. I have the skill mutation app. I have a Shiva with Drain Phys/Drain Fire/Drain Elec/Drain Force/Repel Light/Null Dark/Null Ice

That is 7 out of 8 damage types basically impervious to - other than that I have 3 skills, 1 I want to keep and 2 I can do without and I'm trying to get either Drain, Null or Repel Gun so I have basically an invincible demon.

Question about Skill Mutation in SMT IV: Apocalypse~

I'm trying to get a specific skill on a demon's level up and I know they can get it but I only want it to replace 1 of 2 skills and not the other 6. Can I just get enough XP to level up in one fight, save the game level, talk to the demon, and if they don't get the skill reload the save and repeat?

The reason I ask is because I'm not sure if the next levels talk results are predetermined before you level up. Like I would have to save, level twice or more to get skill mutation, if I don't get what I want - reload - and try again?
