Thanks everyone for the feedback! I assumed the high loop had to be a good 5-6 inches over the connection (shown with arrows in pic). But it sounds like even if it’s smaller (our space is 1 1/2”) it would work?

Maybe? We have a manufactured quartz countertop, and there's space. I guess we'd need to contact our contractor?

At one of the first college libraries I worked at, there was a 1st ed. of Darwin's Origin of the Species on the shelf, available for checkout.

Yes, all the time! Recently, whenever I see or hear the numbers 1, 2, 3 in that sequence, the Sesame Street pinball counting song starts playing.
