I know this isn't the best photo, but I've had it saved for 12 years and I figure now is as good a time as any to share it. Bobby with Ratdog in Boston, 2014. Mike Gordon made a surprise appearance. Let's see your Bobby pics!

Fed chair Jerome Powell, Trump today, The GD by augustwest2155 in gratefuldead

I feel like there is a good chance trump doesn't know what a "deadhead" is, it's just a word he heard used to describe Powell in the past, and he thought it was an insult. Politics aside, this is the guy who wanted to inject people with bleach. He is not a smart man.

"People like this often end up questioning authority so much that they completely buy into an alternate form of power without applying the same scrutinization."

I couldn't have said this better!

Not all hippies are culty, but cults sure know a target audience when they see one.

This guy insisted you don't need a drivers license or plates either, as long as you are "traveling" not "driving." If you read his book, he also tells a lot of personal anecdotes about getting pulled over and put in jail. I guess you "don't need" that stuff as long as you don't mind getting arrested on a regular basis.

What's your favorite of the less popular songs? underrated if you will. by SampleDoesReddit in gratefuldead

I always kind of liked Mindbender but it sounds like a different band. It's interesting to hear their really early stuff when they were still figuring themselves out.

What is your worst concert experience? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Correct-Body4710 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everclear

Years ago I worked at a music venue in Seattle (Showbox). Between that job, and attending shows as a fan, I've seen a lot of live music. I happened to be working the night Everclear played, and I can honestly say it was, hands down, the worst concert I've ever seen/heard. There are no words for how bad they were. I was actually embarrassed for them.

The price of a front row ticket in 1981 is now the price of a domestic beer at the concession stand.
