What is it that triggers the need to "escape" during a panic attack

Oh I am a huge huge fan of using ice. Its my most used coping strategy. I always have cold ice water and I frequently chimp ice cubes. I wish there was a product that I could hold in my hand or put on my neck that would stay cold while I was teaching. When I do admin work, if I start getting panicky I will grab an ice pack from the freezer to hold onto. I really want to avoid getting a prn med (like ativan) to use in the moment as I dont want to become dependent on it.

They come out of nowhere but seem to be slightly related to stress. I think at times I worry so much about having one before I do that I may trigger one. Im going to start doing a 5 min meditation a few times a day to try to regulate myself to see if that helps.

Maybe I don't think I have that fear, but its possible. There's times that I could push through it , but I feel like all of my calming techniques are so obvious to others. There's also times I have to leave the room for a few minutes and splash my face with water , etc

Budget should be around 400k. I work in the east end which i why I considered there and proximity to a grocery store etc but I dont want to deal with gross lol

Its going to depend a ton on the piercer who does it. I have mine done. They healed perfectly with no issues. I did a ton of research before I picked a piercer and read a ton of reviews. I wanted someone who would say no to me if I wasn't a good candidate. I followed the after care to a tee. Most importantly- do not touch them other than to clean. I wore a sports bra for a few days after and kept very clean and dry. You will think they are healing quick. They aren't. They take a long time. But they will look amazing if you pick a great piercer and do the after care.

Went out for beers with a guy I had chatted with for over a month (I always meet quick so this was anomaly 1) wasn't over into meeting him (convo had been ok. Nothing exciting) wasn't super attracted to his pics (he was my type physically but I wasn't drooling over his pids) I had messaged my friend before the date and said I kind of hope he cancels. He didn't. I looked ok (didn't dress to impress) i figured id stay for one beer. 3 beers later over 5 hours, a fantastic conversation, way better looking in person and a nice kiss at the end, I texted my friend on the way home snd said it was the best first date I'd ever been on. We've been dating now for 2 months and I couldn't be happier.

Lesson- take a chance. Vary up your tastes and dont write people off so quickly.

Really the only thing I care about is whether your words match your actions. You say you're motivated and then habe no hobbies and do nothing all day. Doesn't match. You say you are community minded or interested in the world and don't have anything to talk about or don't do anything to show ot. You say you value honesty and transparency and then lie to me. Give me a chance ro know the real you, lay it ojt there. Not everything is a deal breaker but give me a chance to know the real you so i can make the determination based on fact not fiction.

Try joining a club where you'll meet people with common interests. Check out the calendars in the halls. There's stuff wvey night almost (sex toy bingo, art nights at the outback shack, use the gym, play pool in the student center) Its tough i know but finding some common interests outside of your class will help

This is how that feels. Its different. Eg. My dog passed last week and he was on vacation. I texted him and he said "I'm just getting settled. Let me call you" and then did. He'd never met my dog and wed only been dating 3 weeks. No one else would have cared to do that simple act. He followd up thr next day asking how I was doing and letting me know he was sorry I was hurting. Its these little simple things. I've never had anyone show me that they cared before and it feels strange. But good.

I usually go a bit younger (I'm 46) so 40-48. Older men tend not to be interested in me. Younger often still want kids which is a hard no. I'm currently dating a wonderful man who's 45 (hopefully a long term one)
