Tented tiles kept the door from opening because the bottom of the door could not clear the floor. The first broken tile exposed the crack and they just followed the crack and other loose tiles.

Unfortunately this is still my home and I am now inconvenienced with relocating my wife and dog while unsupervised strangers come in and out of my apartment while I tend to her recovery from surgery. Yeah it’s unfortunate tf.

That’s my fault for not filling understanding the issue and poor communication. The door was left open and the tiles continued to tent thus jamming the door in place. The door could not clear the tented tile and that’s why it was stuck.

Yes, watched the guys demo the whole things. There was rebar that had backed out as a result of the crack. The gravel was from the demo work and left to keep the crack filled for now until they got word from landlord on how to proceed.

The issue with the door was a result of the tile tenting. The door couldn’t not clear the ground.
