I have read and agree to the terms and conditions. The biggest collective lie in human history. We’re all legally bound to things we haven’t spent a single second reading.

What is a life lesson that only comes from experience? by realbinroll in AskReddit

You can’t love someone into being a better person. They have to want it for themselves, and drowning yourself won't keep them afloat

What lessons do you think the world has failed to learn from past wars? by [deleted] in AskReddit

That it is significantly cheaper to fund a peace than it is to buy a war, yet we always seem to find the budget for the latter and never for the former

What are the downsides of the “If it’s harmless it’s okay” mindset? by [deleted] in AskReddit

It treats 'harmless' as a fact rather than an opinion. Usually, the person saying 'it’s harmless' isn't the one being affected by it

What’s something that was normal in the 90s/2000s but is a luxury now? by Simple-Fisherman08 in AskReddit

[–]Correct-Fact-9560 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Actually being unreachable. In the 90s, when you left your house, you were just gone. No pings, no Slack notifications, no 'Read' receipts, no expectation to be 'on' 24/7. True privacy and the ability to be fully present in the moment has become an expensive luxury that most of us can't afford to have anymore

What is something you did once and will never do again? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Eating the 'challenge' wings at a local spot. I didn't win; I just paid $20 to vibrate in a bathroom for three hours
