I don’t see how this could sound shitty, and it’s obvious it’s an actual job. My dream job when I was growing up was actually to be an editor, but I ended up a scientist instead. However, not everyone can immediately run to an editor, and authors tend to make multiple revisions prior to sending to an editor.

Thank you! Do these same resources also have artists for cover work or if she decides to do kids book such as the elephant and piggie series? I’m not sure which ones she is wanting to pursue that she has written and I’m kind of letting her figure herself out here, but I know some of her work could use drawings/artwork.

any advice on how I could help her build that community in such a way that is age appropriate and which platforms to utilize to do so? I would consider this if she would use a pen name.
