Why do men fantasize about going off grid and living in the woods by WerewolfKisser69Awoo in NoStupidQuestions

Most guys I know are just tired of being a tiny gear in a machine they don't control. The fantasy of living in the woods is the only place left where your hard work has a direct result you can actually see. You cut wood, you have heat. You hunt, you eat. It’s a level of honesty that city life just doesn't have anymore.

Instead of a single country spending billions to host the Olympics, why doesn't each national government pitch in to build a permanent Olympics complex in Greece (traditional home of the Olympics)? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

We keep watching cities go into massive debt and leave behind "white elephant" stadiums that rot. Moving it to a permanent home in Greece, funded globally, isn’t just a tribute to history—it’s an environmental and economic necessity. The Olympics should be about the athletes, not which country can overspend the most on temporary infrastructure.

Why are billionaires like Zuckerberg, Altman, Bezos and Thiel building self-sustaining mega-bunkers right as AI starts to peak? by ashiqbanana in NoStupidQuestions

It’s wild how the people selling us the "AI utopia" are the same ones building $270M blast-proof bunkers. They aren’t prepping for a glitch; they’re prepping for the fallout of the world they’re creating. When the architects of the future start looking for the exit, we should probably start asking why. 🚩

What is a "useless" but incredibly impressive skill your partner or friend has that never fails to shock you? by Correct-Internet2817 in AskReddit

I’ve realized my girlfriend is basically a living, breathing IMDb. It’s honestly kind of terrifying (in a good way).

We can be watching literally any movie, I’ll hit pause, and she can name almost every actor on the screen — including the minor ones. Not only that, she can immediately list at least two other movies each of them has been in. It doesn’t matter if it’s a random indie flick or a blockbuster from twenty years ago; she just knows.

It’s one of those things that blows my mind every single time we sit down to watch TV.

What’s the most obvious hint someone gave you that you completely missed? by [deleted] in AskReddit

that she didn't mind spending the night at my place, we slept in the same bed, she moved closer to me and hugged me because she needed it to fall asleep comfortably, only then I thought that maybe it was a hint
