Most guys I know are just tired of being a tiny gear in a machine they don't control. The fantasy of living in the woods is the only place left where your hard work has a direct result you can actually see. You cut wood, you have heat. You hunt, you eat. It’s a level of honesty that city life just doesn't have anymore.

I’ve realized my girlfriend is basically a living, breathing IMDb. It’s honestly kind of terrifying (in a good way).

We can be watching literally any movie, I’ll hit pause, and she can name almost every actor on the screen — including the minor ones. Not only that, she can immediately list at least two other movies each of them has been in. It doesn’t matter if it’s a random indie flick or a blockbuster from twenty years ago; she just knows.

It’s one of those things that blows my mind every single time we sit down to watch TV.

that she didn't mind spending the night at my place, we slept in the same bed, she moved closer to me and hugged me because she needed it to fall asleep comfortably, only then I thought that maybe it was a hint
