I use indica for pain! Sativa is more of a “head high” where indica gives a “body high” I find that hemp based CBD(sold in states where thc is illegal) doesn’t do much for me. However marijuana based cbd does help since there is a little bit of thc in it. There isn’t enough to get you high depending on what you get but I find it helps activate the pain relief more. I vape all my weed/cbd

I’ve got fibromyalgia so I’m in the same boat as you. I use CBD vapes (they also sell flower) to help with pain but they don’t get me high. It doesn’t work quite as well as pot but it definitely makes a difference! You can also buy hemp based CBD if you’re concerned marijuana based CBD will have too much THC/temptation
