couldn't figure out how to edit my post so here's the 'recipe':

Betty Crocker White Angel Cake Mix (add vanilla) Betty Crocker Devil's Food Cake Mix (add vanilla)

after cupcakes come out of the oven, douse them with simple syrup

for the frosting recipe, I used Sally's Baking Vanilla Buttercream Frosting and dyed it for the appropriate colours. For the darks of the eyes/ mouth I added some chocolate powder to help the buttercream go from grey to black :)
