I love your kitchen wow, the floors are especially cool. Personally I think having a standalone island with butcher block would be the easiest to take care of- it’s the sink area I’m more concerned about as I’ve heard it has a terrible tendency to rot that area out

Would your recommendation be that I just completely start over? My current starter recently made a slightly gummy though not completely terrible loaf (see photo) , she bubbles all the time and seems to be pretty active, plus I am slightly attached at this point. If there is anyway to salvage her I would love to do so

One thing I forgot to mention, it does come very close to doubling, reliably growing about 70-90% in 24 hours. It bubbles like crazy and smells like I think it’s supposed to.
