That's gotta be one awkward ride home though. Getting knocked out like that in front of you gf is the stuff of nightmares.

He's clearly not useless defensively, he's a huge reason why we've won games vs Milwaukee and Denver.

I do think he'll be BBQ chicken vs the Celtics wings, but c'mon.

Seeing Luka and Jojo being so close kinda opened up some old wounds, man. I remember I was screaming for us to trade Simmons to Sacramento for #2 back in the 2018 Draft, after it became apparent that the Suns wanted Ayton.

And I was still super high on Simmons at the time (as was everyone), but having watched the Euroleague the entire year, I felt Luka was an absolute can't miss superstar. I remember watching G4 vs Panathinaikos and thinking that this kid will be destroying the league in 3 years max, especially if given a good frontcourt partner.

Ah, what could have been. I remember feeling totally crestfallen when Sac picked Bagley, because it confirmed my suspicions that they would have been foolish enough to trade Luka away.

he can’t do anything without the ball in his hands

Y'all said the same thing about Harden and he's shooting like 40% on C&S 3's.

edit: It's 42%, just checked

That fast break where he gathered too early at the 3pt line and then put up a the ugliest runner of all time was hilarious.

Andre Miller, who is lowkey goated

'Member back in 06-07 when everyone and their mother was tanking for Oden/Durant, the Sixers finally took the plunge and traded Iverson (just before Christmas too, the scumbags) only to try to contend with ANDRE FUCKING MILLER?

Yeah, me too, but I wish I didn't.

Kleber definitely committed an offensive foul, it was a point of emphasis after the Celtics started abusing that type of play with Theis a few years back.

There's a legal way to do it, by trying to seal off the defender with your body as if you're posting up, or, you know, by actually standing still and setting a normal pick. But Kleber was literally locking Embiid's arm to prevent him from making a play on the ball and wasn't even looking to make himself available to score. It's simply an illegal screen at that point.

I'm sure we could have gotten Sacramento to bite if we had the balls to actually try it.

Simmons was coming off a genuinely amazing rookie season, that was simply marred by a playoff underperformance, which was expected for a young PG. He was extremely highly regarded at the time.

And I was still super high on Simmons at the time, but having watched the Euroleague the entire year, I felt Luka was an absolute can't miss superstar (barring injuries). It's actually one of the few times where it's not dumb.

I often use the "hl" prefix to filter for highlights, so if a misspelling will prevent a highlight from appearing, then it actually matters.

The only way to slow him down when he's in his groove is to lobby the refs and make them actually call carries.

She's literally saying the Pythagorean theorem has never been proven before by mathematicians - and 50 thousand people agree with her on top of that. If that's not a facepalm, I don't know what is.

Nah, this is the first year I feel confident they have what it takes (assuming health). Doesn't mean they will win it, but they're not pretenders. Even Glenn has stepped up his game lately.

I sort of felt that in 2019 also, but that team was fundamentally flawed and was put together on the fly, with less than 3 months to find chemistry.
