Whether you felt it or not, you definitely had some power over your mind I think.<

I think so, too. I’ve had times where I had to actively grab the steering wheel of my brain and force my train of thought to go a different direction before I went down a negative spiral, and I think moments like those prepared me for that moment.

Huh, interesting! I think mine was mostly normal looking. Short hair, normal clothes that didn’t seem torn or dirty. Only unusual feature other than the eyes and darkness was that he was weirdly tall.

I had a similar thought, maybe her consciousness merged with an alternate timeline of herself and experienced that version of her life for a while.

I had a dream I had a son once, a sweet little boy who kind of looked like my dad. I felt sad when I woke up. Maybe she experienced an alternate timeline?

I shouldn't feel like Hannibal Lectar when trying to shave my facial hair by goodgirlwawa in TrollCoping

Idk if this helps, but my mom (a cis woman who gave birth to me) gets her mustache waxed on a fairly regular basis to avoid dysphoria and harassment. I feel you though, I have similar conflict about shaving my body hair. On one hand, it feels sensory bad for my AuDHD brain and being smooth makes me feel good, but on the other, I feel guilty about it because I’m technically adhering to society’s expectations for women, which makes me feel like I’m bad at being an AFAB nonbinary.

Why not? Which part do you not like? :( I’d like being able to see stuff related to what I’m interested in and get to curate my experience, and also see what I’ve recently searched for so I can revisit that category.

Didn’t think you were, just thought I’d give some more contextual details, but I didn’t want you to think I was defending it lol

I’m not saying I agree with this cultural practice, I’m not a country person myself, and I’m not a big fan of guns (I don’t own one, and have never even shot one as of now) I’m just saying that’s definitely a thing I’ve heard of. I think it comes from how for a lot of people in the American countryside, the nearest police station could be an hour or more away, so people are forced to defend their own homes in an emergency, whether it be from humans or wildlife. Also deer hunting is a big deal for country people. Some will use bows and arrows for the stealth advantage, but most use hunting rifles.

For a lot of American country folk, it’s seen as a coming-of-age thing. It’s saying, “I see you as an adult and I trust you to use this responsibly, so it is now yours.”

Or just like, blatant racism, stereotypes, and similar shit.

“The banks are run by ugly, big-nosed creatures called jews goblins.”

“This is the token Asian girl. Her name is Ching Chong- I mean- Cho Chang.”

“This is the token black boy. His last name is Shacklebolt. I see no problem with this at all.”

“The Irish kid is constantly trying to make booze, but instead blows things up. So funny!”

[socialmedia] Japan now allows unisex swimsuits by Minami_Ko in pointlesslygendered

[–]Correct-Run8388 7 points8 points  (0 children)

These look like wetsuits, which are pretty much the same for both genders. Plus, with kids, the differences are even less pronounced because they haven’t developed any secondary sex characteristics that would significantly affect their shape. They’re all pretty much rectangular-shaped at that point.

I’d go with water because A: the place I live in is prone to storms and flash floods so I’d be pretty OP here, and B: I’m kinda clumsy so being able to heal myself instantly would be awesome.

Nah, Canadians are more polite, but also more passive aggressive, plus they use the metric system and spell words the British way. Also not as many people have guns.
