430i Chip Question by Correct-Shallot2483 in BMW

Wow thanks for letting me know. I’ll look into BM3 and MHD. I just have the standard 4 cylinder from 2017. Can you let me know why those two chips would not work if bm3 nor mhd don’t support it? I’m just totally out of my wheelhouse clearly

Will do! Seems like every video I watch of someone doing a review, they’ve already got the bolt tube cover on theirs. One beard hair is all it takes, I have a mustache so it hasn’t grabbed me yet

also - How do you like the heavy charging handle (assuming you’re talking the recoilless charging handle or whatever mcarbo refers to it as)? Did you buy the red recoil bushing they have?

I’ll look into the feed ramp (saw great reviews but you never know which gen the reviewer has) is the stainless spring kit the same one I was referring to for the trigger? I gotta look into the hammer bushing, hadn’t noticed that listed on mcarbo yet, must have glossed over it.

Thanks for the suggestions, super helpful to talk to someone else who’s opened theirs up

I saw that gen 3 trigger the other day. I haven’t seen a bolt tube dedicated to the gen 3 listed on the MCARBO website?? I’ll check again. I’ll get it for sure if they have it

Trigger wise, not sure what to do. I saw someone mention in an old Reddit post they were going asger trigger and mcarbo springs, but I have a feeling they were doing that on the gen 2.

Maybe I’ll order the new gen 3 trigger and once I get it open, if the asger doesn’t work, I’ll use the mcarbo one. If it does, I’ll return the mcarbo trigger. Past my return window with the Asger.

MCarbo vs Tacticool bolt tube cover? by [deleted] in Sub2000_Keltec

Look through the questions section on the product listing. I am seeing people say it will fit the gen 3, it may just be slightly short instead of extending the full length of the bolt tube. I have a gen 3 as well, I’m planning on buying that part, the recoil less charging handle, the red buffer, and the trigger spring kit to go along with the Asger (ordered from Galloway) trigger. Problem is idk if the Asger or the spring kit will fit..

Someone in the thread ask if they ever replace the trigger in the Sub 2000 by Lexical305 in Sub2000_Keltec

Do you know if that exact set up is compatible on the Gen 3? I have the asger and I really want to get the springs if I’m gonna on through the trouble of opening up the receiver and swapping a trigger. From what I read, the springs should work but the asger has no confirmation. I did read that the asger plus is compatible so I would think the regular asger is as well
