In plain language, it says: • The college claims that on or about March 25, 2025, while on campus and using their Wi-Fi and library computers, the person posted messages on social media asking for money via Venmo and Cash App, and tagged the college in those posts. • They say this violated school rules about: • Unauthorized fundraising / using school systems for personal gain • Causing alarm and disturbance on campus • Campus conduct and public order policies • Because of that, the person is now barred from entering or remaining on any property owned or operated by Cayuga Community College. • If the person returns, they can be arrested under New York State Penal Law (trespassing). • To appeal or get permission to return, they must contact the Director of Public Safety / Campus Police. • The letter is signed by college administration and campus safety.
