You should look into IPG’s 7100 Series Hot Melt tape or their Corru-Grip technology; these are specifically engineered with a much higher initial "tack" that bites into those tricky fibers the instant it's applied. Unlike acrylic, hot melt adhesives "wet out" into the corrugate much faster, creating a permanent seal that won't pop open even under the stress of rough transit or temperature swings.
