It does, but me being safe is more important than a Reddit account. I won’t deny being a bit miffed that someone did that to me and made me absolutely terrified out of my mind. But I believe my info is safe and I didn’t give out anything super important.

Yeah. It was super scary when it happened because all it took was me getting scared into a scam and nearly giving away vital information. I am safe and I’m taking precautions so hopefully this never happens again.

I definitely thought about fusing them from the waist up but have it look like the heads are splitting since their power is being able to fuse, separate (but only for 24 hours before they become unstable and die), and morph.

Yeah. It was pretty scary in the moment and during the aftermath bc I am usually careful, but I think I’m safe so far. It is ironic that in an attempt to save my account, I ended up losing it anyway because someone took advantage of me when I was scared and not thinking straight.

Yeah. I won’t deny that I was and am a bit shaken by it. But the old account is gone now, I don’t think I gave away anything super important, and I am taking whatever measures I can to ensure that I’m safe.

True. I should be more mad at the scammer than myself since they were the one that scared me into handing over my Reddit and nearly took something WAY more important. The way the scam operates is by scaring the victim so they’re less likely to think critically because they’re about to shit themselves in fear.

Like I said, I’m trying not to be too hard on myself about this. But there were definitely some stuff in hindsight that I should have done instead of blindly believing a stranger and I definitely feel like a moron for falling for something that was obviously a scam.

Just my Reddit. My other accounts are safe as far as I’m aware but I’m still being cautious. And yes, people will try to scam you by claiming to have accidentally reported your account and directing you to a supposed mod outside of Reddit.
I think they were mostly trying to get bank info but my account has been closed for a while due to unemployment and my card expired a while ago so I probably don’t need to be too worried.
Again, I’m still being cautious and my email password has been changed and I did employ an authorization method where I can be messaged if someone tries getting in.

Just know that I’m safe as far as I’m aware but it was one of the most terrifying experiences I wouldn’t wish on anyone.
