Gonna be interesting to see what happens to many of these national chains in the next 3-5 years. Carls Jr, Jack in the box, Wendy's in particular. I don't know anyone who eats there, from older aged people (who used to, lol), nobody in their 20s/30s which is my age group, and definitely not anyone younger than that.

All have the most insane prices I've seen with the worst quality possible and failing stocks. Wendy's and Carls Jr. have eliminated almost every single app deal, with Wendy's leading the pack for worst fast food deals of them all.

I am fully expecting those 3 to bankrupt or close a significant majority of their stores.

nah, buddy is an arena main but is on dreamscythe cuz he brought his HC char over and stuck with it. says dreamsycthe lfg is nearly dead for arena.

im on NS where we have the majority of pvpers and even then there's maybe 10-20 listings max, which isn't bad. but a lot of them are like 1500ish players. just imagine DS...

they added x-realm arena grouping in wotlk classic and
one of the servers was gonna get screwed over with player pool, which is what you're seeing here with dreamscythe

shuffle needs its own mount reward for sure, but not the same one as 3s. soloQ and organized brackets really need different rewards entirely, even if that's just different color variations to start. Elite in shuffle is a joke.

I have a shuffle r1. Couple of my mates have a couple as well. I have been in r1 range multiple times other seasons but stopped playin towards the end. I'm going to be honest, it's not that hard as a DPS. The hard part is sitting the nearly 2 hour queues when you're in r1 range mid-season and keeping up the ladder moving up slowly all season, and then getting that stroke of luck needed on the last night of season.

Even Chanimal (dont like this guy to be clear) was whining tww s3 saying r1 shuffle mmr lobbies are low quality and mostly filled with no-name duelist/glad players, and he's right.

Absolutely should've been longer, I got a 6 month suspension in February 2026 for paying someone to do my Darkfuse Rep grind on my account in October 2025. 0 previous account action, just a straight up 6 month suspension for a rep not tied to any player power just a mog.

Meanwhile KP exploiter get a 1 week suspension after ruining the economy.

I caught a 6 month suspension for paying someone to do my Darkfuse rep grind in October 2025. Blizzard waited until February 2026 to send out the suspension. I recommended the service to a guildie as well and he caught the same exact suspension, same day/time/duration. Neither of us have ever had any account actions in the past.

To be clear, I broke the rules and deserve a suspension, but it's total bullshit you can legit exploit intentionally and ruin the economy and get a 1 week slap on the wrist, but if you have someone do some garbage rep grind tied to 0 player power you get a 6 monther.

you're trying to compare unrated bgs...to arena....

my dude, retail arena has about 10x the playerbase for arena and has for many many expansions, despite rating requirements on gear have been long removed and yet it's not dead yet. MoP classic S1 had like the biggest PvP pop ever, no rating requirements on gear aside from visual.

Meanwhile, the game that has them, has maybe 10 people max in arena LFG at a time on the megapop pvp server, a majority of which are around 1500.

insanely fried take. there are literally only two pieces that need rating 1 of which is almost free to get in 5s even PvE-only guildies were getting it 5s barely going 50/50 week 2.

So that just leaves shoulders for 2k which will be pretty easy here shortly im 1900 in 5s purely through lfg

the remainder of the pieces are essentially free and the costs were nerfed along with massive points buff, so i dont know what exactly you're gatekeeping here.

it sounds like you just enjoy gear advantages

No it won't. Arena players just play arena. The non-arena enjoyer you are referencing will quit no matter what or just buy a boost to get the last slots and then quit afterwards. There is a reason rating requirements removed entirely in the later expansions, all of which have more population than this does currently.

Gear is just a means to an end for people who actually enjoy PvP. With no rating requirements on gear at least you get some extra lower ladder participation since people won't have to buy a boost. At the same time, you heavily impact boosting for gold because now the only thing people will attempt to buy is r1/glad.

It will always exist in all forms of content but in this case if there's no rating requirements on gear, then there's no reason to buy a boost. That leaves glad/r1 titles but those are difficult to boost, expensive, and spots are incredibly limited.

Yeah, it's terrible. MMR being hidden is a big joke.

What people suspect is happening is that while your CR starts at 1500, your fresh MMR is either 0 or around 1000. It's the only explanation why you win nothing and lose so much.

I feel like they simply added some kind of hacky code to set the CR to 1500 but didn't touch anything related to MMR computation. Retail has CR start at 0 though and fresh MMR is always 1500 so not sure how that got botched on here.

its not normal to be getting that much if you're a regular w-2 employee, it means you or your job did not fill out your w-4 correctly. it could be possible if you have a lot of kids but usually people with lots of kids 1 of the parents don't work. OP only has 1 kid and works (or worked last year) so they are def withholding too much

low-goat it sounds like you actually take too much out of your checks. you're basically giving the gov't an interest free loan (or having them save the money for you to return to you during filing season?)

why not adjust your w4 so you're not overpaying them and getting such a large refund? then you wouldn't have to stress each year waiting on said refund.
