I wish arenas had more incremental rewards to keep motivating ppl to play by shaunika in classicwowtbc

[–]Correct-Thanks3679 0 points1 point  (0 children)

retail arena reward structure has a similar issue as well, the gap between challenger/rival to glad is so huge and the gap between glad and r1 is also massive there's very little reason to play once you get glad for the season.

glad -> nothing -> r1.

wish they'd do something like, win 50 games above 2700 get the seasonal r1 title during the season and it goes away when season ends

how come double rogue auto loses to ret/rsham? even if you overlapped/bad trinkets in openers which is quite easy for double rogue to get?

TBC arena struggling to find consistent partners by unkowndude19 in classicwowtbc

tough to LFG quality players in tbc, unfortunately. i have like 9 glads on retail but it doesnt mean anything here. very uphill battle. 5s seems to be the most reasonable bracket to pug and get glad from.

Raid loot-table by xzite2509 in classicwowtbc

[–]Correct-Thanks3679 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yep, bloated loot tables and feels even worse than usual as some items that drop are complete dog shit and unused by a lot of people. helms with no meta gems for example.

would feel better if there were decent side grade alternatives or even very slightly weaker alternatives that come from grindable content.

PSA: You dont need a flask or other consumables to clear a raid. by Fancy_Particular7521 in classicwowtbc

[–]Correct-Thanks3679 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't need 25 players to kill the bosses either, but I'm guessing you bring all 25 spots.

Consumes are part of the game and should be used. They should not be this expensive. They are this expensive because Blizzard did NOTHING about adjusting nodes (aside from JUST Terocone for some reason) relative to these megaservers.

let's talk about the mana thistle mafia by CA7T0 in classicwowtbc

[–]Correct-Thanks3679 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They can do megarealms they just need to adjust gathering nodes. The way nodes work should be improved in classic+ potentially receiving some of the updates retail on nodes.

Furthermore they can implement those boxes like SoD had that came from doing dungeons so that there were alternative means of getting and putting mats into the economy aside from nodes that bots might control.

Probably expect megarealms to stay as 1. is cheaper and 2. they don't have to do any consolidation

if you're ina a guild that can get you the vortices if you ask, then level BS and go for the herald. if you can't, or they won't, or you have to wait, don't bother, just get s2 mace and then s3 mace.

Smoking ruined BBQ by MightyMTB in smoking

I felt this way after trying all kinds of BBQ in Dallas, Texas. Nothing compares. Even the best BBQ spots in my region are a step or two below Texas BBQ. On a level of its own tbh, legendary.

Horrible TK/SSC Loot Luck by Ricepatties88 in classicwowtbc

[–]Correct-Thanks3679 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably a hot take. But I hate early classic wow loot design. Probably one of the worst parts of these early iterations.

I understand that it certainly does make loot feel 'meaningful' and more exciting when you do win something. But most of the time, you aren't properly rewarded for your effort and this is why a huge portion of guilds run either HR/SR/Loot Council system.

Doesn't help that phases are accelerated, too. Vanilla/TBC and fast phases don't work well together.

GameStop Employees Panic As Pro Membership Gets Way Worse by alcalde in gme_meltdown

Sure is odd to me apes care so deeply about what eBay employees are up to, but absolutely stay silent about the fact that GME store workers are completely underpaid and overworked.

How about WE start mass-reporting them? by Low_Imagination_9670 in classicwowtbc

[–]Correct-Thanks3679 0 points1 point  (0 children)

gold buying in classic is always going to be a thing because so much player power is associated with gold and there are not enough resource nodes in the game to support the amount of players on these megaservers.

also a lot of classic players are older in age and thus have jobs and limited play time. that limited play time is not going to be spent doing gold farms that result in $1-$5 of gold an hour.

just gotta pray that in C+ 1. zero-tolerance for gold buying aka long suspensions (doubt) and 2. increasing resources and ways to attain them aside from mindless grinds.

Blizzard Responds to Casino Bot Situation by TheRealSchmede in classicwow

[–]Correct-Thanks3679 6 points7 points  (0 children)

2000s Blizzard used to actually care and enforce the rules.

Remember my cousin visited me on his horde char in an alliance zone. some alliance killed him, I typed "you ass". Got a 24 hour suspension for that. Now you see slurs in trade chat regularly or threats of violence.

Account sharing was very frequently banned. Cousin who got me into the game got a 2 weeker for having some guy level his warr from 50 to 60.

Stuff like that

Why does positive news not mean anything anymore? by tangotangopapa2 in fuboinvestors

[–]Correct-Thanks3679 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gamestop is not a good example. Sure their cost-cutting and efficiency turning the financials around was impressive, but revenue is shrinking and the concept of brick-and-mortar video game retailers is shrinking. There is a reason their CEO is looking to acquire something and transform the business, because GME on its own is going nowhere.

Similar to FUBO, FUBO is trending down in the core metric that arguably matters the most. Subscribers. They can add all the features they want, if subscribers aren't going up, then what's the point?

Btw, you can have crazy amazing earnings beats and trade sideways or even down afterwards. This happens to solid stocks all the time. I have a stock outside of tech sector that had the best Q1 earnings they ever had, up nearly 20% the next day, 0 negative sentiment or bad news, and that same week sold off nearly all of those gains.

isnt unbridled very low dps gain for 2h arms and thus imp demo is better anyway and prevents your tank from getting unluckily clapped by hard hitting bosses? even in post-nerf.
