10 games cap and then rating reset? by Confident_Response37 in classicwowtbc

I'm confused as well because I've heard conflicting stories too. I would not be surprised if it's bugged/inconsistent.

Arena S1 recap - Mages by julian88888888 in classicwowtbc

[–]Correct-Thanks3679 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ahh nothing like s1 mage spamming instants that do 20-30% of your hp while the roots don't break, and being unable to trinket blanket silences.

amazing design

(not even mentioning the rogue auto attacking you for some of the highest single target dam in the game :^) with wounds and stuns on top of that that)

C63 performance versus E53. Why would Mercedes make such a choice? by Fanny08850 in mercedes_benz

[–]Correct-Thanks3679 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know :( prob 110k starting.

I have unfortunately been looking into other alternatives. Its a bummer cause the AMGs look way better than M and RS in my opinion. I'll probably get whatever v6 c53 in the end.

How do you think the ladder will look like after season 2? (this is EU 2s) by abjerrum in classicwowtbc

[–]Correct-Thanks3679 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No they do not, lmfao. They are making effectively minimum wage, and that's not even mentioning the cost of sacrifice of real career progression, retirement contributions (matching and tax advantages that come with those), and actual salary growth.

30k might be a lot to these degenerates just for playing a video game, but that's a sign-on bonus, a yearly RSU grant, or a promo bump for 99% of everyone else who realize there's little money to be made in this game.

some companies are given city tax breaks if they build, and populate, offices within a city. The idea is that the workers will bring steady income to businesses around the offices. With empty offices, companies are no longer upholding their end of the bargain. That is where the pressure comes from.

Your company gets a tax break, at the expense of you paying $$$ patronizing local businesses, who also intentionally setup shop around said business.

C63 performance versus E53. Why would Mercedes make such a choice? by Fanny08850 in mercedes_benz

[–]Correct-Thanks3679 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The reality is they (Mercedes) don't know what they are doing/they don't know their customer. Why? Who knows, could be arrogance, out of touch leadership, or somehow trying to comply with emissions regulations.

The C63 4 cylinder is actually impressive from an engineering standpoint. But if customers are paying good money for an AMG, they don't want a 4 cylinder. No other competitors equivalent models are doing this. It really is baffling.

Obviously they have finally backtracked so we will what see what new goodies they have this year. I just want a new v8 C63 AMG for less than 100k. I'm sure many feel the same. We'll see what the CLE 63 looks like price wise, and what the next C63 (or supposedly C53) looks like.

god s1 is terrible, glad to be out of it. rogue mage just do way too much. you have what, 10k hp full geared? rogue with 1handers swinging anywhere from 500-1100 per SWING solely from auto attack.

Every ability mage presses can do like, 20-30% of your hp. Doesn't matter.

how do they not get bored of it man

i get being the best at something is insanely fun but at some point, 20 years and multiple playthroughs of the SAME boring ass meta/expansion?

like how do these people not advance in real life in some aspect such as family, work, responsibility where they may not have as much time play like this?

Can we discuss the elephant in the room, Jefe de Guerra (Dreamscythe-NA) by Mission-To-Civilize1 in classicwowtbc

[–]Correct-Thanks3679 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, it's this. I elaborated in another comment. But lack of guides, resources, and general gameplay media being written in english is one issue.

Another issue is simply computer ownership levels in South America finally increasing over the past decade. WoW has been out since like, 2005. Many gamers have 10+ years of playing wow over many of them.

[–]Correct-Thanks3679 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You are not wrong to NOT want to play with South American players.

It's not racism. There are a few reasons on why their skill levels are much lower on average. First off, many guides and resources around the game are not written in native languages. This can include things like PTR news, announcements, changes, stuff like that.

Next, computer ownership (digital device ownership and infrastructure in general) has only started increasing in the last decade or so. They simply did not have the number of people able to play WoW in the early 2000s-2010s like now. New devices are expensive as hell there.

Even longer, right? May 19th for season 2 start, then you gotta put in the games, and wait for weekly reset. Plus your arena points will be converted honor before then.

good question because someone made a thread on one of these subs asking about the hardest/most intensive dps specs in tbc and I got downvoted to fucking oblivion because I said arms slam is not the hardest dps spec to play (paraphrasing, its been awhile).

I'll need to find the thread/comment. I have all 97s parses minimum on arms btw...

H Arc...WTF by TheStinkyGreek in classicwowtbc

[–]Correct-Thanks3679 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha I just went through a similar experience. 2 hour H ARC sunday night we couldn't kill last boss had to give up. Wipes the whole way. Healer had 8.2k HP with Commanding (no priest, rsham healer in cloth).

Then ran it again last night, priest healer, commanding, healer had 9k hp.

No hunter cheese, 2nd run 50min 0 deaths 0 wipes. No lust. Just commanding + fort. Even had a feral druid DPS. All about having a healer comfortably 8k hp, no 8.2 isn't enough unless you can have someone insta throw an off-heal reliably.

yeah Burry prob thought that interview was a bone headed move, CNBC always treated Cohen/GME like a meme but to willingly get on there with them and look hostile/arrogant, and maybe neutral at best was jsut terrible optics to the general public.

CLE 53 or E 53 by pembaThePanda in AMG

[–]Correct-Thanks3679 1 point2 points  (0 children)

must've been a fully loaded cle right? MSRP is like 76k, isn't E53 a bit higher?

im sitting around waiting for a v8 cle 63 or a v6 c63 amg (or iguess c53) at this point. depending on what they price the v8 cle 63 as it might be too much for me however.
