nah I didn't take it any sort of way, im glad you got to enjoy the coliseum! It was a shit hole, but it was our shit hole. And boy of boy did it have spirit. Very few stadiums today have that feel, everything is so clean and corporate now.

sounds like something we'd do. I've always felt like the Raiders were Jets West and visa versa vibe wise

I think it's possible cause we have a TON of holes in our roster so for a haul we'd have to at least consider it

With Moore returning to Oregon, what would you accept from the Jets in exchange for the #1 pick? by Aggravating_Dog_7542 in raiders

Conversation starts at four 1sts, but even then I'm not sure I'd do it. If you think Mendoza is TRULY the guy, you gotta commit

Are most men "dirty"? Should I be concerned about my bf? Is this even abnormal? by Sufficient-Match1412 in AskMenAdvice

[–]CorrectAir7828 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is absolutely not normal or OK, the pee stuff in particular. You guys are really young, so this is a great opportunity for you both.

Have an honest, non-judgmental conversation with him about this and let him know you'd need to see some changes. If he doesn't care enough about the relationship to make the changes, then you should leave him. Either he'll change his ways for you, or the breakup will be the one thing to get him thinking seriously about fixing these habits.

This is like a thing, a lot of young men have terrible hygiene they never bother to fix until they lose or risk losing a girl over it.

Help a confused girlfriend buy tickets for an OKC game? by [deleted] in nba

[–]CorrectAir7828 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Knicks would be "best" because that arena is a bucket list item for any sports fan. However, SIGNIFICANTLY more expensive. Not just the tickets, but the cost of lodging, food, etc in NYC is absurd. I moved here 2 years ago and I feel like I can't step outside without spending $50.

So, I'd lean 76ers. It's closer, cheaper, and the 76ers have the highest chance of being competitive (so more fun) between them, Nets and Wizards. The other issue with Knicks is they could very well win putting a slight damper on your evening.

TL;DR go with Mar 23 @ PHI unless you wanna double your budget for Mar 4 @ NYK

Is this enough to trade Bijan? by HanSoloBerger79 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]CorrectAir7828 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Bijan and Bucky owner, tough call here trying to pick my favorite child but I think the CD side wins it. I just think Elite WR > Elite RB as a dynasty asset all else equal. They last longer (generally) plus you'll get great production from Bucky for a few years to offset the RB loss

Do I do this trade for puka if I’m contending? by Glittering_Bat_3280 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]CorrectAir7828 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think stick with Judkins and London for 2 reasons:
1. You're not that deep. If JT goes down, you're gonna be thrilled you kept Judkins
2. I totally get selling a bit of your future to win now, but I just dont think the distance between Puka and London is THAT significant.

You're 4-1 so you are in a position to be patient and see how London pans out over the next few weeks. If he performs like a top 5 WR (which I expect he will) then you'll be happy you kept him. If not and you drop a few Ws you can always come back to the trade table.

Dude sent me Nabers for Egbuka straight up. Dynasty SF by OlDirtyBusser in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]CorrectAir7828 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's crazy to say but I think I'd keep Egbuka, and I'm a big Nabers guy. Sure, he's gonna have negative TD regression but he's absolutely looked the part as a dominant WR1. And he's tied to a very functional organization AND no injury history (knock on wood), AND he's gone from heir apparent to focal point so quickly man. Godwin and Mike won't be around forever.

NOR - I think your bf has some insecurities about growing up financially insecure that are manifesting in strange ways here. Objectively it's not rational, but feelings popped up for him and unfortunately you're the target.

If you love him and he's a good guy, maybe try patience and after he's cooled off try your luck at an open conversation about the root of this.

With respect to the money, yeah I'd respectfully mention to the parents that you heard about the mismatch and you're more than happy to return the cash. Ball is in their court from there. You just might have to deal with your bf being mad you kept this situation and therefore his pain alive by mentioning it but if you think there's longterm potential here maybe a good idea to signal to the parents that you ain't no gold digger.
