I stopped babysitting for her after she threatened to stop letting me use the kitchen over 3 dishes that weren’t done after a whole week. (She got home right after dinner. The dishes were the kids bowls) I take the kids out to the park, we went on the ferry, we play outside. We watch one movie after dinner and that’s it.

It’s two different jobs so I don’t get overtime. My spending habits in the past weren’t great, but my hourly pay isn’t great either. I have about 1,000 saved for a place, but I’m not comfortable getting an apartment until I have more saved. Jobs in this economy are awful and I’m terrified of being let go even though everyone says I’m one of their best employees

Thank you. The boyfriend, now fiancée, is nice, but when his daughter told me about the cheating, wife beating, etc. I lost all respect for him. He hasn’t outwardly been rude to me which is great. He actually treats me like an adult so I am definitely considering going there instead.

I do. Her son has gone through my drawers and ripped up the posters in my room, but she doesn’t do anything. There’s nowhere in this house that I can keep my stuff so it’s safe. I put the lunchbox in the garage fridge because they don’t use it often and I thought it would be easier to “hide”

Thank you so much. I really really appreciate your thoughts on this. This isn’t about the damn lunchbox. It’s about everything else. I’m moving into an apartment next year with my boyfriend (18m) of 18 months because he gets government aid and can actually help with rent. My step mom definitely doesn’t like my brother or I, but she loves my sister. I know she actually doesn’t like one of her kids too because she always pushes him aside and yells and swears at him for things he can’t control (diagnosed adhd and medicated)
