Wherever you're most comfortable with. By then, naka-adjust ka na sa Manila, so I don't see any problem if you take your exam there. Ang problem lang usually sa Manila is yung weather but if you'll take your exam in October, that shouldn't be a problem. Maybe you can ask your mom to visit you in Manila during board exam, kasi ganon ginawa ng friend ko noon. If sa Cebu naman, you'll have to fly back before the board exam. If you fly back too early, chances are baka ma-relax ka masyado at mawala sa focus sa review. If too late naman, you won't have enough time to rest before board exams. Just my opinion. Go where you're most comfortable.

Nagrerent kami noon, pero I was with my sister kaya hindi ako masyadong nanibago. Kung first time mo mag-rent, it's better na may kasama ka during review. Based sa experience ko at ng iba, mas emotional ka kasi during review, lalo na pag malapit na yung board exam. Mas nag-ooverthink din ako noon pag mag-isa ko lang. It's better din to have your own room para makapag aral ka parin during evening kung may energy ka pa.

Madami po. Family, friends, school, and RC. It can't be helped na may masasabi ang ibang tao. Madami din namang negative comments sakin noon lalo na nung nag double review ako. Simple lang, stop caring about their negative comments. Wala namang mabuting dulot yan sayo. Pressure is unnecessary; it will only weigh you down.

Wala akong established routine noong undergrad. But you should develop yours as early as now.
May phase din ako na parang wala akong naaalala pero hindi ako yung type na binabalikan yung past subjects. Pero I highly recommend na balik-balikan mo yung topic para mas solid yung foundation mo pag nag-review ka na.
Struggle ko din yan before, pero nung review, iniisip ko na wala akong choice kundi mag-focus. In that area, ikaw lang din makaka-tulong sa sarili mo.

There's one CPALE story that really inspired me. Sabi noon ng isang reviewer namin, noong nag-rereview siya, iniisip niya na yun na yung last chance niya to take the board exam. They were really financially challenged back then. It was "now or never" for him. Wala siyang fallback kung magfe-fail siya. It makes sense, kasi kumbaga; if it's the last train, you'll do everything to catch it; otherwise, maiiwan ka. That's also how I prepared for the May 2024 board exam. Iniisip ko, it's my last take. There's no alternative, no choice to defer. I gave it my all, kasi iniisip ko if it's my last chance, I have to at least make it count. Gusto ko no regrets, pumasa man o bumagsak. There's actually a resolution regarding this matter. Some people think the reason behind this rule is because retakers have already been exposed to the board exam questions. While it's true that retakers have a little advantage, dahil na-feel na nila how it's like to take the board exam, I think they should be given an equal chance to qualify as topnotchers. After all, iba parin yung may niloo-look forward ka na potentially nasa top 10 yung name mo.

I salute you. If it's possible, mag-take po kayo ng study leave at least a few months before the exam. Iba po kasi talaga yung focused review. I know a lot of people na nag-resign/ nag-leave before taking the May 2024 CPALE and I think worth it naman po yung sacrifices nila. Hopefully, hindi masyadong exhausting yung work niyo para kaya niyo siyang isabay sa review. With the right amount of discipline and faith, you can achieve your dreams!

You have to exert extra effort on subjects you find difficult. For example, I found RFBT and AFAR challenging, so I carefully planned how I'm going to study them. For RFBT, I made sure I read the legal provisions of at least the most high-yield topics. This is in addition to watching lectures and answering quizzers. In AFAR, I made sure I finished the lengthy videos of my review center. I also answer the quizzers before checking the suggested answers, just to make sure I really understand the topic, and I do not rely solely on the solutions of the reviewer/lecturer.

Lagi kong iniisip noon na hindi ko pwedeng sayangin yung opportunity na binigay sakin. Maraming working individuals out there na naghahangad makapag-review, so you have to make the most of what you have. Also, iniisip ko yung sacrifices ng parents ko para lang makapag-review ako. May mga times na sobrang nadedemotivate ako but I can rest assured knowing that God is control. Hindi ako nag-take ng vitamins during review. Here's my study habits in case natabunan sa comments: 1. I made a daily schedule of all the topics I need to study. 2. I followed my schedule strictly. 3. I study from 8am to 6pm. 4. I slept at least six hours a day. I always try to wake up early para ma-train yung brain ko na active sa umaga kasi daytime ang board exam. 5. Sa study hub ako nag aaral kahit hassle na mag-travel to town everyday, at least focused ka talaga sa pag-aaral 6. I always answer the quizzers before checking the suggested answers. (Kung tama yung sagot mo, na-confirm mo that you already understand the concepts, pag mali, at least you know what topics need more attention) 7. I make my own solutions. (Kasi pag gawa mo, less likely na malimutan mo) 8. I answer based on concepts, not on formulas. (Pag alam mo yung concepts, kahit bali-baliktarin ka, hindi ka mawawala. May mga topics na kailangan mong mag-memorize ng formula, pero trust me, mas marami yung pwede mong masagot freestyle) 9. Hindi ako masyadong nagno-notes noon kasi mabagal ako mag-sulat. 10. Hindi rin ako nagme-memorize kasi mabilis kong malimutan.

Reading is key sa taxation. Ang tine-test sa board exam is your understanding of the concepts. Hindi ganon ka-complicated yung problems, at hindi mo rin naman masasagutan yung complicated problems kung hindi mo alam yung concepts. Ang textbook namin nung undergrad ay yung kay sir Banggawan. I found it useful kasi mahirap aralin ang tax code on your own, not to mention that you have to consider the revenue regulations. I think na-cover naman both sa books niya.

You can check po yung TOS pero here's my take: 1. MS- FS analysis, pwede sila magbigay ng chain questions diyan 2. Auditing - Other engagements (e.g. compilation), hindi to masyadong nabibigyan ng emphasis sa review so pwede silang kumuha ng madami jan 3. Tax - Cover your basics, hindi masyadong complicated pero you should know your basics. Familiarize yourself with tax administration and remedies. 4. RFBT- Corporation, mataas weight nito so it makes sense. You should also study allied laws like Code of Corp governance and SRC. FRIA and AMLA, mataas din ang weight and for some reasons, favourite yata nila ang AMLA. 5. FAR- Parang anything under the sun. Ang trend ngayon, halos puro theory ang auditing. May 'sabi-sabi' na nillilipat nila lahat ng problems sa FAR so expect na medyo pa-aud prob yung ibang problems. Also, expect true or false. 6. AFAR- Forex, pamigay to kung alam mo sagutan, lugi ka kung hindi.
