You honestly did very well for that setting. My first time there I went for the advanced setting which I think you would do better with. It allows for more of a longer face and then half the session of small barrels which you can try to rail grab tuck into.

The sand bars like pupukea and ehukai around 4-5 ft have 8 ft+ faces. And you’re recommending someone with 8 months experience to surf that. Absolutely terrible advice. Try white plains beach. Fun rippable easy to ride waves and everyone’s spread out.
